Dr. Finkelstein combines 30 years of experience with innovative modern methods to help you heal faster and more completely.

He created Microcurrent Positional Tuina (MPT) for patients with musculoskeletal pain. MPT is added to treatments to relieve pain, increase mobility/movement, and speed up recovery. This system includes acupuncture, microcurrent electrical stimulation (ETPS), Positional Tuina and Postural Qigong. (See Supplemental Therapies for additional explanations.)

Oriental medicine assessment techniques determine which muscles and joints are asssociated with your condition. Tightness and tenderness in related acupuncture points is released by ETPS microcurrent and Positional Tuina stretches of muscles and joints.

Frequently, there is immediate improvement in mobility, movement, and reduction in pain. This phase of treatment is followed by acupuncture. Postural Qigong stretches are recommended for patients to maintain the improvement gained during the treatments.

For treatment of internal conditions, Dr. Finkelstein utilizes Oriental medicine treatment methods including acupuncture and Chinese herbology.
